Terms and conditions

Two lists: the obligations we take on, and the few things we need from you in return.

Revised October 2026.

What you can count on

  • A figure that does not move. The written scope issued after your survey holds for 30 days. If buried obstructions or unexpected ground conditions appear once excavation starts, work halts and you approve a revised figure before anyone continues. An invoice larger than an approved scope is not something you should ever receive.
  • Measurements, handed over. Elevation readings taken at your property belong to you, before any decision and regardless of whether you hire us.
  • Insurance you can verify. General liability and workers' compensation certificates are produced on request, in advance. Oklahoma issues no state trade license for foundation repair — the Construction Industries Board covers plumbers, electricians, mechanical and roofing contractors, not this trade — so insurance and local registration are the checks that actually mean something.
  • The permit, applied for by us. Structural repair in Edmond requires a permit from Building and Fire Code Services. We identify the right authority for your address, apply, and show the cost as its own line rather than folding it in.
  • An agreed lift target. Where lifting is part of the work, the target is written down beforehand. Returning a settled structure to its original construction level is frequently neither achievable nor advisable, and pursuing it causes damage. Cracks narrow; they do not vanish.
  • Warranty terms before you commit. Duration, transferability and exclusions arrive with the scope, not after signature. Pier warranties attach to the piers installed and the elevation reached at those positions.

What we ask of you

  • Access. Clear routes to the perimeter, the crawl space hatch and the rooms where readings are taken. Doorways matter — a reading is taken at every threshold.
  • What you already know. Previous repairs, plumbing work, a known leak, an insurance claim, dated photographs of the cracking. Old photographs are the single most useful thing a homeowner produces.
  • Decisions in writing. Approve the scope by signature or email. A verbal yes on a doorstep protects neither of us.
  • Payment as agreed. Smaller works settle on completion by card, check or transfer. Larger projects stage: a deposit on acceptance, then agreed milestones, all set out in advance.
  • Tell us early. If something about the work is not as described, raise it while the crew is still on site. Our complaints procedure sets out what follows.

About this website

Figures published across these pages are planning bands for the Oklahoma City metro drawn from published cost guides. They are not quotations and they are not a price promise. Guidance here is general information about soils, foundations and building rules; it is not a structural assessment of your property, an engineering opinion, legal advice, or a ruling on what any authority will require. Codes and fees change, and the current documents of the relevant authority govern. Reach us on (405) 358-4561 or at hello@edmondfoundationworks.com.
